You may have noticed that I do not wear a lot of color. It's not because I do not love it, but I have always preferred black clothing on myself. There's something infinitely cooler about it...but, when eShakti offered a dress for review I decided to branch out and try something else. This incredible olive dress had a very futuristic vibe to it and so I jumped at the chance. I opted for the style as shown, but as with all of their pieces you can make select changes to sleeve length, dress length, hem style, etc. It was custom made to my measurements and was a perfect fit. My only complaint would be that the zipper style is sewn in such a way that you cannot partially unzip it from the top...it either has to be worn open or up. But it is made of an incredibly comfortable and light weight jersey...SO easy to wear. And of course, the eShakti favorite detail, POCKETS!

It's been 3 months since we moved and things are still to feel like home. I've started exploring photography spots in our yard + house, so forgive me if these images seem a little off. This dress came on Friday and I KNEW I needed to share it with the world. I layered on many of my favorite pieces and put together this look for a friend's birthday party.
This past weekend my husband and I went out to a nice Valentine's dinner and I decided to break out some of my new favorite pieces. Between the rings, the dress and the kitty-eared bowler hat, I was pretty happy with this look!
I do love this ASOS dress, but be warned: it is NOT stretchy and the fit means that sometimes it's a bit hard to raise your arms.

Even though it's still in the 90's here in Southern Cali, my favorite season is approaching and I cannot wait to get back into my jackets + long sleeves! My taste/style hasn't changed very much, but there was one clear categorization became apparent: price. So I have separate my fall wish list into $, $$, and $$$. Thanks to Jeffrey Campbell, $$ has a shoe addendum...finally some Lita's WITHOUT a brown sole and/or busted upper. Also, I've include some goodies I recent bought as well to get a full visual of my fall fashion plan. I think it's also important to see how you can full embrace a style regardless of price. Enough chit chat, onto the goods!
What are you loving this fall? As I hope I demonstrated above, I'm all about drapey layers, HUGE rings, oilslick patents, leopard print, and occult imagery.
Our friends worked really hard to help open Studio Servitu, an upscale studio for some of your, um, naughtier events. The set up was very sleek, featuring a favorite of mine: striped walls! While the event room featured black and white walls, these gorgeous mint and black stripes are in the bathroom...I could not resist a photo shoot!

Pink Addict Liquidation Sale - So, yes: I've been cheating on my pink shop with my plus size shop. It's becoming more of a reality that I cannot juggle both on my lonesome, so I'm liquidating Pink Addict's stock. Everything is marked CRAZY low, with many things starting at just 99 cents. My addicts have already blown through a lot of stock, but there are still TONS of cute things left. All the money is going right back into making Domino Dollhouse the best plus size shop it can be...so it's kinda like supporting the fatshion industry while getting cute stuff....right?

I am so loving my yellow hair! The pink turned a melon-y orange, as you can see, so for now: MY HEAD IS IN FLAMES! And yes, I know that the bust line of my outfit is rather scandalous, but I LOVE the cut of this bra and I wanted to showcase it. And showcase it, I did. For it's 50th Anniversary, Sanrio is teaming up with legendary boot designers, Dr Martens to create these fabulous Hello Kitty inspired boots!! I'm in love with the black/pink ones...the bow is so adorable! Though I'm a 14 hole boot gal at heart, I would make an exception for these cuties!
Who would you die to see create a collection together? I would LOVE to see a Betsey Johnson/Dr Marten collection or a Jeremy Scott/Evans duo!!!
I'm going gaga over grommets right now! I already bought up this sweatshirt, I'm aching for the boots, and those leggings will be on my legs before you can blink! For the most right now take, grommets look best in clusters and in mixed match sizes. As for colors, black and gold is great, but honestly: it's ALLLL about the black and silver. Move over studs: grommets are trying to steal yo thunder!
Last night we poppped over to Reseda to dance the night away at Bananas. Surprisingly, we arrived first and had time to have a photo shoot in the alley before meeting up with our crew. Thus, here is my OOTD from 2/13/10!
I embellished this bra earlier in the day with loose studs and hematite hot fix rhinestones...I had a Selena moment and loved every second of it!
