OOTD: Wiggy

The best way to jazz up a bad hair day and a solid black dress? I opted for a lavender wig and Blackmilk x Jeffrey Campbell booties, obviously!  I wore this out to my friend's burlesque show and was surprisingly comfortable.  This ASOS silhouette is my favorite right now...LOVE!

Spring Wishlist

I dare to say that I'm becoming predictable with these wishlists and inspos, but then I remind myself how few plus size blogs focus on darker fashion. It's important to keep showing new places and creative ways to rock an alternative style in a fashionable way, right?? With that small warning, I present my Spring Wishlist! I'm still all about flowing, lightweight tops, great boots, and killer jewelry. These tops from All Saints are PERFECT for pretty much any size and are oh so easy to wear. Want to know where else all these goodies are from? Click the image to go to my polyvore set for prices and links.

Spring Wishlist

Full disclosure: the Gareth Pugh x Melissa Sandals and the glasses are already in my possession. But they were just TOO GOOD to not include. Also note that the Gisela Ramirez Bondage Briefs (which I would wear with the sheer skirt in the warmer months) are now 50% off with the code on her site.

There are a couple of items from Etsy that I'm drooling over as well, but since they cannot be worked into Polyore I'll include them here.

There are also several pieces from my upcoming collection for Domino Dollhouse that I will be snagging for myself but NO SPOILERS yet, chubblettes!

OOTD: Debakalis

Debakalis

One of my dear friends, Eddie Debarr, joined forces with Project Runway alumni Johnny Sakalis to form the fashion powerhouse Debakalis. Their debut presentation, Sirens, was a small collection of gorgeous dresses, along with leather and shell accents. It was TRULY gorgeous and enhanced by the modeling skill of my wife, Frankie! Here are some more images of the team:

I also took a lil' snap of my outfit for the evening, complete with my new Jeffrey Campbell shoes and Domino Dollhouse's new Dotty Collection sample skirt.

Tiers of Fall

Even though it's still in the 90's here in Southern Cali, my favorite season is approaching and I cannot wait to get back into my jackets + long sleeves! My taste/style hasn't changed very much, but there was one clear categorization became apparent: price. So I have separate my fall wish list into $, $$, and $$$. Thanks to Jeffrey Campbell, $$ has a shoe addendum...finally some Lita's WITHOUT a brown sole and/or busted upper. Also, I've include some goodies I recent bought as well to get a full visual of my fall fashion plan. I think it's also important to see how you can full embrace a style regardless of price. Enough chit chat, onto the goods!

What are you loving this fall? As I hope I demonstrated above, I'm all about drapey layers, HUGE rings, oilslick patents, leopard print, and occult imagery.

OOTD: Studio Servitu

So, as posted in a previous entry, last night I attended an art opening at Studio Servitu for Carlos Batts and April Flores (those links are NOT safe for work, but ARE wonderful). In honor of such sexy beasts, I showed some arms, boobs, and legs. My only regret: not bringing the nice camera! Oh well...here are some snap shots from the studio of my ensemble.

OOTD: Hubby's Birthday

OOTD: Geisha House
OOTD: Geisha House

Monday, I got all gussied up to head to Geisha House (a fabu sushi restaurant) for my husband's birthday. Short on time, he only snapped a few full lengths, but I just HAD to share my Jeffrey Campbell Clinics. I used to wear platforms daily, but in the last two years, I've lost my platform stamina. I'm getting it back thanks to these very special shoes. I also chose these tap shorts to change up my typical legging/skirt combo...it was very refreshing in the summer heat!

See below for the rest of the outfit details.

Dress: Forever 21
Shorts, Belt, and Fishnets: Torrid

Shoe Plea!

So, I'm a pretty good shopper. However, I know that we all have are strengths and weaknesses when it comes to finding things...and I am at a LOSS as to finding my most desired pair of shoes! They are Jeffrey Campbell, constantly sold out, and I need a size 11. Now, I've seen a Jeffrey Campbell size 12 before, so I know he makes them larger than a 10...but am I chasing a unicorn?? Anyways, these are the #1 pair, the Clinics.

I signed up at solestruck to be notified, but I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows if this style actually goes up to an 11?

Jeffrey Campbell also has other current styles that I would happily take as well! If anyone knows a place where I can buy any of these in a womens' 11...you will get hugs, kisses, and gold stars!!!

Also, please note the new chubble blogs I added to the list...some GORGEOUS gals on there! Please give 'em a read and support other chubble blogalinas!!

EDIT: I PRE-ORDERED THEM AT SOLESTRUCK IN AN 11! SO, YES, THEY DO MAKE THEM...JUST HAVE TO GRAB THEM UP WHEN YOU CAN!
