I loved this ASOS Dress from the moment in came out...black and long with padded space shoulders? YES. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out a way to wear it that felt like me. Que up last Friday night: our friends hit us up to go to Bunker last minute and I was searching for something new to wear. After layering and unlayering various pieces, I settled on adding a high-waisted skirt with DIY-ed suspenders over my ASOS dress and I was finally in full on love with my dress.

I read about the shredding technique on Musings of a Fatshionista and thought I'd give it a try. I have plenty of plain black tanks, so I opted for this trapeze style number and shredded the front. I love how it came out so long and asymmetrical (I think because of the trapeze cut, mostly). Thanks for the share, girl! I wore this out to Das Bunker for the Nacthmahr/Uberbyte show (which, BTW, featured Uberbyte's chubby female singer...SO ADORABLE!!!).
And for the make-up, the inspiration stems completely from my obsession with Lady Gaga's Alejandro video. After consulting with make up artist extraordinaire Natasha, she told me to snatch up the mac white eye liner pencil (in "Fascinating"), as it was the smoothest option for bleached out alien eyes. I do wish I'd had time to bleach out my eyebrows, but I opted for au naturale look this time. It's weird to not have so much dark eye make up on, but I think it's a nice change of pace.
I also love her goggle-headpiece so much that I've been buying up craft supplies to create something crazy...and when I do: you can check it out here!

I am so loving my yellow hair! The pink turned a melon-y orange, as you can see, so for now: MY HEAD IS IN FLAMES! And yes, I know that the bust line of my outfit is rather scandalous, but I LOVE the cut of this bra and I wanted to showcase it. And showcase it, I did. Above are a few snaps before meeting up with our friends for a night of dancing!
Jacket: Evans Mesh Top: Spunk (now closed) Bra, Belt and Scarf/Hood: Torrid High Waist Skirt: American Apparel Mini Skirt: Forever 21 Leggings: Asos Curve Shoes: Dr Martens Ring: Hot Topic
Last Friday we headed up to Das Bunker in LA for some dancin' and drinkin'. I popped on one of my favorite club dresses from Alienskin and decided that it'd been too long since I showed off some more gothy/cyber OOTDs. Alienskin makes fabulous dresses up to a UK 26 in a huge variety of colors...SO fabulous! I've mostly stopped dressing full on cyber, but it's still fun to break out the old gear and shake it. I have this theory that cyber designers don't imagine a future with fat people, so therefore their clothing doesn't come above a large...but I digress =) Here are the images and outfit details!
Dress: Alienskin Shrug: Girlfriends LA Necklace and Bracelet: Cyberdog Collar as a Headband: Sentiments Leggings: Torrid Boots: New Rock Boots from Belmont Army Surplus

Here's my first official "Outfit of the Day". We were heading to a special Apoptygma Berzerk show at Das Bunker. I was feelin' patch-y and just went with it...it's NOT any easy thing to wear, let me tell you!
PS - it is hard no to look mean with an eye patch on!
Here are the details!
Dress and Jacket: Beth Ditto for Evans Leggings: Torrid Shoes: New Rocks from Belmont Army Surplus in Chicago Gloves: Patricia Field in NYC Necklace: Betsey Johnson Runway (eBay) Eye Patch: Allycat Metalware
I also have been sellin' off some of my older gear to, of course, get more new stuff! Hee hee...check out what I've got up now here.
