With the rapidly approaching launch of Domino Dollhouse, I am hoping to put together some styled shots to really showcase the site's point of view. Product shots are great for what they are, but I think it's very important to put it all together on a model to properly express the vibe.
That being said, I am eagerly looking for models sizes 12-18 who reside in the Southern California area to take part in a photo shoot. If you are interested, please email a selection of pictures (full body and face shots) along with contact information and measurements to me at: dominodollhouse at gmail dot com.
The store should launch this week, so keep your eyes peeled and add Domino Dollhouse on Twitter!

Model Profile: Kerosene Deluxe
Kerosene Deluxe is a girl VERY worthy of the plus size community's attention. Not only is she "out" and proud as a plus size model, she excels in styling, make up quality and photography choices. When I worked for Versatile Corsets, not only was she a great customer: but also a DOLL to work with! I can't say enough about her...so I will just let her images do their job and stop with the text.

Fluvia showin' some BUST
Fluvia Lacerda in the Bust Feb/Mar 2010

BUST is one of my favorite magazines, but I have to say: I'm a bit disappointed. These pictures were interspersed between a smaller model who wasn't constantly cropped or covered with a robe. Fluvia has an amazing figure and I wish that we could see more of it. For a feminist magazine, why did their stylist feel the need to hide her?
What do you think of the photos?
