Pondering

So, I can't be the only one who experiences this. When I purchase a flowy top that is made for sizes S-L, it fits me so much better than about 85% of plus size tops (of any style). Cheap Monday makes my favorite tops and Betsey's nighties (some of which ARE plus size, but more like juniors plus) are superb. I also recently added wishlists on my blog for some of good "straight" size shops not only to keep track of my favorites, but to also demonstrate the type of clothing that works* for all bodies.

Now, some of my favorite pieces come from brands that I have the potential to sell at my store, Domino Dollhouse. They carry oversized crop tops, flowy blouses, and billowing dresses that not only could work for plus sizes, I've proved it by trying them on. My point is to ask: would you appreciate a plus size store that carried standard sizes that were PRE-TESTED to work for larger bodies? I'd love to be able to carry a variety of edge-y clothing, but there just isn't the selection out there for sizes 1X-4X. What are your thoughts?

*I define works as can physically get on the body, not what looks "flattering" in some narrow minded sense of the word. I do not choose to wear body con, but that doesn't mean everyone else can't. And also: maybe some day I will.
