As the seasons start to change (or are supposed to...it's still 100 degrees here in LA), I always like to cultivate some points of focus for my wardrobe. This week, I will be posting 6 of them total. This post features Leather, something that makes me swoon every time. There are some MAJOR plus size pieces in this category right now and I'm trying hard not to drool.
I'm pretty much over the moon for the perforated pleather waistcoat from Navabi...I can imagine a million outfits with this one.
And because it is the most epic of epic leather jackets, this one by Lane Bryant's 6th & Lane category gets its very own image. How PERFECT is it? Tara Lynn looks amazing and I will continue to dream about this piece.

Last night we headed out to a movie, as a family, for the first time. A theater by Disneyland offers 1 showing a week that is baby friendly, complete with extra lighting and changing tables! So we headed out in the 100 degree heat to check out the movie Lucy with Remy. Here is my outfit, compiled of my current favorite summer duds.
Remy also wanted to show off her tough girl nose scratch (from wrestling her stuffed elephant with a bit too much vigor) and brand new cat ear headband!
Our friends worked really hard to help open Studio Servitu, an upscale studio for some of your, um, naughtier events. The set up was very sleek, featuring a favorite of mine: striped walls! While the event room featured black and white walls, these gorgeous mint and black stripes are in the bathroom...I could not resist a photo shoot!
