Welcome to the Dollhouse

I've dropped a few hints in the past few months about a plus size project I've been working on and I think it's time to REVEAL what I've been slaving over.

I give you...

Photobucket

After dipping my toes into owning an online store with Pink Addict, I wanted to realize my dream and make the plunge into plus size fashion. The boutique will be ALLLLLLL about the pop pieces. Basics are covered by such fabulous retailers as Torrid and ASOS, so I wanted to focus on special tops, dresses, skirts, and accessories that aren't so easy to obtain. The price points will be between $20-40 for most clothing items and $6-15 for most accessories...totally affordable for all ages and budgets! I'm hoping to open in November 2010, so if you'd like to start getting updates, you can follow Domino Dollhouse on twitter!

I am also completely open for suggestions on items, styles, models, promo ideas...you name it! If you feel a HUGE void for something you need: share it with me! Always wanted to model? Hit me up! I'm looking for girls 18-30 between sizes 14-20 in So Cal for future projects. I'm also open to working with select bloggers on giveaways, coupon codes, and more. Send all info to dominodollhouse (at) gmail dot com.

  2. This sounds amazing!!

My one suggestion: Please, please carry sizes up to 32! So often I find pieces I love but they stop at size 24 or 26. It's a lot harder to find awesome things in the bigger sizes.

  3. Cid - Thanks so much!! Definitely shoot me an email in when it launches and we'll see what's availabe.

Lisa - Unfortunately, most of the products I have found so far do not come bigger than a 3/4X...and I REFUSE to sacrifice style. I would like to develop my own products down the road, and I will take this in to consideration. Thanks!

Mary and Beth - THANK YOU! I'm pretty excited as well.

  5. oo this sounds exciting! Good luck with everything bb :)
Would you mind if I posted about this on my blog? & Will you be shipping to Europe?

  6. Stephanie - That'd be great! I have no problem shipping to Europe BUT because I'm such a small store, I won't get the rockin' shipping rates of larger stores. I will definitely work with my over seas ladies to make it best for everyone.
