Lucky 13 Clothing BACK AT TORRID

Back in the early days of Torrid, when it was STILL just a section of Hottopic.com, they carried the rockabilly brand Lucky 13. I hope some of your recall and frankly: roll call of all those fabulous ladies that actually worked at pre-pink Torrid store (THIS GIRL)! Anyhoo, they've got some "online only" selections that are pretty adorable. Unfortunately, the cuts aren't quite what I'm looking for but I can picture some bombshells around the fat-o-sphere in some of these lil' numbers. They seem like retro staples, but I'm sure if they do well some more fanciful pieces will be on the way. Here are my favorite of the bunch!

  1. I miss the old torrid and was so glad to see these dresses on the website the other day. Hopefully this will be a sign that they will continue in this direction? A chubby girl can wish.

  2. I highly doubt they will, as they make a lot more money being 'mainstream'. My hope is that small retailers will pick up the slack and start flourishing! Though: maybe that's just because I'm a small retailer!

  7. I just got the black bow top - love it! However, fair warning: When Torrid says this brand runs small, they really mean it. I'm usually a Torrid size 1, have been for a long time. However, I could *barely* fit into a size 2 Lucky 13... My advice is to go two sizes up when ordering. :-)
